Workforce Preparedness - Skills for 2020

The Apollo Research Institute published an excellent and coherent report identifying skills necessary for success in the workplace.  While the report is titled Future Workskills 2020, the reality is that many of these skills are required for the current workplace, especially in digital environments.

Below are the 10 skills identified - new media literacy is key to acquiring some of the other skills.

• Transdisciplinarity: literacy in and ability to understand concepts across multiple disciplines. More about transdisciplinarity.
• Virtual collaboration: ability to work productively, drive engagement, and demonstrate presence as a member of a virtual team. More about virtual collaboration.
